Jacob Benjamin Wolfe had a strong Catholic upbringing throughout his childhood while growing up in Tryon, North Carolina. He attend Appalachian State University were he first began to study music but soon realized it wasn’t the path God intended him to take. His love for art and design within the Catholic church developed under the guidance of Fr. Patrick J. Winslow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He then studied Furniture Design and has since studied under a master sculpture and master carver. The phrase used by Michelangelo ‘sempre imparo’ means to learn more and has become the motto of each new project. The creation of Ars Coeli was the hope to offer access to the Catholic faith which is intrinsic to a spiritual life.
